Location: located about 11km from the city.
Jerez airport is famously known as the airport with Solera,
for the famed method of producing Sherry. Currently there
are about 8 flights flying in and out of this airport to Madrid,
Barcelona, London Gatwick and Stanstead.
Jerez airport is situated 10 km north of Jerez de la Frontera
in Southern Spain. It is about 80 km from Sevilla and 45 km
from Cadiz. It’s a contemporary airport with the principle
arrivals and departures areas on the ground floor.
In sync with the city’s historic feel the airport too
doesn’t have any telescopic boarding facilities and
people can see off there friends and relatives from a café
located on the first floor.
The airport has one runway 2300m long and 45m wide with a
capacity to hold movements of ten flights in an hour. The
apron can easily accommodate six aircrafts. A passenger terminal
with the total capacity of 1200 passengers was built in 1992.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS
The information counters are located at the Arrivals and Departures
halls along with a tourist information counter in the Arrivals
hall to assist with further travel plans and flight details.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Eating and drinking:
The airport has a café on the first floor next to the
check in counter another café in the departure lounge.
They are very well maintained and serve the passengers with
an array of reasonably priced snack items.
Shopping:
The airport is equipped with a duty free shop wherein the
passengers can enjoy buying gift items, perfumes, beautiful
watches, wines and many more items as souvenir.
Parking:
Car parking for 550 cars is located on the other side of the
terminal. It is free for the first half hour, then 0.85 Euro
for each half hour up to 6.95 Euro for each 24 hours.
A Cargo Agent and Aero Club located at the old terminal provides
spaces to park cars by the road side and it is only a few
minutes walk from the airport.

Disabled Facilities:
The airport provides special assistance for the physically
impaired passengers. Special ramps, elevators, adapted telecommunication
facility and customized toilets are available on the airport
to facilitate the physically challenged passengers.
Wheelchairs are easily available on the airport and the staff
is readily available to provide assistance through customs
and immigration. These facilities can easily be availed by
the passengers by placing a request at the ticket counter.
